Generally, change the settings on this panel only if advised to do so by your system administrator.

If your system administrator has instructed you to set the Directory type to LDAP or Active Directory, the only

feature you should change on your own is Synchronize contacts from the directory. See “From an LDAP

Directory or Active Directory” on page 34.
